The situation in practice is that it’s impossible to ‘learn at your own pace’ on a short intensive course. You will be learning at the pace that suits the completion time of the short course, whether it’s 2, 3, 4 or 5 days.
You won’t know either until you start, what you as an individual person will really need as you embark on this unknown adventure of riding a motorbike. There’ll be no time for reflection, for variation, nor proper practice of your skills which are essential ingredients in any learning environment, if you choose an intensive course.
These are facts that must be borne in mind if you want to be genuinely safe, skilled and prepared for all eventualities. In short, you might pass your tests but you won’t be as good, or as safe as you could have been.
